Although raised in the Seventh Day Adventist church, Vern experienced the horrific scenario of his mother and other family members murdered. He fell into chronic depression and into alcoholism. Thankfully, YHVH is a redeemer! His life changed when his neighbor felt the Ruach (Holy Spirit) press on him to share the gospel with Vern. After that, his life forever changed.
