Statement of Faith:

Our purpose is to proclaim the Name of YHVH and praise His name throughout the world.

1.    Pursuing Torah believes the WHOLE bible is true and given to us to guide us into righteous living, even today. The instructions and covenant between YHVH and Israel found in the Torah are eternal and for all people. (Genesis 17:7; Jeremiah 32:40; Psalm 105:8; Hosea 2:19)

2.     Pursuing Torah believes all Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training unto righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16)

3.     Pursuing Torah believes that Yeshua (whom many call Jesus) is the Messiah who came to release us from the penalty of death. His death allowed us to return to the covenant, which we (humanity) broke.

4. Pursuing Torah believes the Messiah did not come to abolish any instruction, as He stated, but to cause them to abound (Matthew 5:17-19). He was the perfect demonstration of righteous living. These instructions are not too hard for us when we are filled with His Ruach/Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 30:11).

5.     Pursuing Torah believes that YHVH, the Father of Heaven and Earth, does not change (Malachi 3:6). His Word will never come back void, but accomplish it’s purpose (Isaiah 55:11).

6.     Pursuing Torah believes that the 4th commandment, keeping the Sabbath day holy, cannot be changed by the Roman Catholic church or any other entity. Scripture states it is the mark of His people, therefore, the seventh day Sabbath, is a sign of being in covenant. It was given at Creation, which means it is for ALL mankind (Exodus 31:13-17, Genesis 2).

7. Pursing Torah believes that Israel, YHVH’s elect, does not live Torah for salvation, but as a demonstration of love to our Holy and righteous Elohim. We keep the commands because of our love for Him. Yeshua’s blood was required to remove the penalty of our sin, therefore, we believe Messiah Yeshua is the only way to salvation.
